前几天看论坛，有个用户发了个贴子，内容大概是这样的：
有个英语国家，不准农民养猪。他当时不假思索地说："The country didn't even allow peasants to keep their pigs."（国家甚至不允许农民养猪）。
老外疑惑地说："You mean the state?"（你是说国家？）
这下他就糊涂了："What?"（你说什么？）
老外表达说："country怎么能禁止农民养猪呢，一定是state啊。"
他更糊涂了："country和state，不是一样的吗？"
