怎么有尊严地和老外说英文？”
简单说，就是其实找外教的好处有这么几个:
1. 不得不说，锻炼开口的胆量，增长开口时间
2. 接触的口语相对正宗
3. 容易找到心里安慰 – – – 觉得总算是开口了
缺点:
1. 大多数外教没有具体的课程内容规划，所谓提前备课其实只是找个话题上课聊天侃大山而已
所以，不会有课程目标，也很少会有课后的总结。(愿意上课聊天的时候顺便记录下你的错误和问题的老外就很不错了)
2. 价格昂贵，有些外教，充其量只是“foreigner” – 老外而已，这种课既不能提高你的思想境界，也很难提高你的真实语言水平。但是因为是“老外”，所以收费一般都比中国的老师高。当然，如果你发现你找的“外教”收费不足单位小时200元的时候，你得警惕，他可能是菲律宾、泰国、澳洲、印度尼西亚这些国家的非英语母语speakers。
价格很高，价值，你要自己评判
3. 和水平不高且对你帮助不大的老外聊high了，你会觉得越来越敢说了，觉得开口简单很多，但是带来的负面效果很可怕:你会觉得聊天很简单，养成了愿意表达的好习惯以后，随着你自身水平的慢慢提高，你会发现自己表达过程中的问题很多，没人帮你指出、纠正，慢慢地就容易碰壁。比如，很多自认为可以和老外流畅沟通的学生，口语类的考试分数都不怎么样，当然了，你会说日常交流和考试当然不一样，但是换个角度思考一下，像雅思、托福口语这种考察真实口语能力的考试你的得分很低，难道不能说明你的口语水平其实不高么?
4. 女孩儿要注意，老外也是人，是人就有一定会有人渣，你叫他一声老师，wont change anything — — 所以，也要谨慎，不要盲目崇拜。

当然了，你找外教的目的是为了提高口语的，所以，我们讲讲更经济、实惠，且更适合你的学习方式:
1. 养成早读的习惯 – 每天早上 30分钟以上
读啥? ~ 一会儿说
2. 养成看美剧反复刷，而且每次看都拿笔拿纸记的习惯
为啥? ~
看美剧之所以轻松，是因为大部分人不是奔着语言本身去的 — 事实上，他们都喜欢打着学英语的旗号看剧情去了。所以看完一遍以后你对于剧集的印象，应该不会是你会了多少表达吧?
所以，看完一遍以后，别着急看下一集，把看过的那集，再看两遍，剧情了解了，就得搞一搞语言了。拿笔记，所有你不会的单词、表达、好句子
3. 养成平时一个人的时候，‘自言自语’ — talk to yourself 的习惯
因为，往往口语的表达不顺，刚开始的时候主要原因有两个
1， 没有积累；脑子里没货
2，有积累但是反应太慢；储存的知识到运用出来需要脑子里来来回回的中英文转化和运算… 哈哈，当然磕巴地厉害
所以，用英文自言自语，最大的好处，就是“用最低的成本羞辱自己，提高自己”
4. 养成听英语的习惯 — 这个很重要！！！！！
因为，说的前提，是你脑子里有东西，和老外聊天是轻松，但是一节课以后你觉得能留下来到你脑袋里，下次能用上的东西有多少?
听英语，是要你去输入，而且，你报课，听老外侃大山要给他钱, 帮他练习了怎么hook up with students; 和怎么把一个话题越讲越顺忽悠其他学生，你的付出和获得，你自己思考一下是否是你所接受的。
听英文，是成本最低但是最高效的英语听力&口语的学习方式。刚开始的时候你的水平可能比较低，所以千万不要听信别人让你去听npr news、bbc、voa的鬼话，你越听越不想听，到头来还是会回头去找更简单的方式 —- 找外教侃大山。。。
水平低的时候(无需以此为耻，能力越差，潜力越大)，可以听英文歌学着唱，听你喜欢的英文歌，不要一曲接一曲听，先弄懂你最喜欢的英文歌的歌词，然后再听，然后，再边听边跟着哼唱，然后，再自己唱。 此法坚持唱10首歌，基本上口语的基本功就能打牢。(连读、吞音这种老师不教、教不了、教不会、教不对的东西，听歌学唱基本都能搞定)
水平高一点的时候，下载 “喜马拉雅” 去听round table – 圆桌会议，两男一女，内容新，语速虽然稍快，但是重要部分以及话题都会用中文说明白，开车或者坐地铁、公交的时候听一听还是非常不错的。
水平再好一些，去听脱口秀，npr news, 60 second science, 如果你用的苹果的产品，可以登录itunes，进入podcast部分，搜索相关的内容，下载到手机、电脑里听。
5. 最后，要有具体目标！！！~~~!!!! 不然不如不学
尼采说过“任何不已解决实际问题为目的的知识积累，都是耍流氓”，当然，可能我的回忆和转述有偏颇，你们明白我的意思就好。
我想说的是，很多人都比较容易下决心做一件事情，但其实没有想明白为什么自己要做这件事儿。而绝大部分事情从表面看都容易上手，深入了解以后总会发现各种困难和问题，所以，这个时候问题来了:
1种人，预知过自己可能会遇到的问题和困难并且对于自己的诸如懒惰、拖延等人性缺陷有比较深刻的了解以及应对方式，所以披荆斩棘，总能坚持到被人说“卧槽，好牛逼”的时候。
另一种人，比较容易被自己的热情打动，随意许下承诺，狠下决心，没有想明白自己到底要什么、为什么要学习，就很容易中途放弃，浪费了时间和金钱，收获了“哦，原来我不适合学英语”或者“什么jb玩意儿，老子为啥要学英语”的结论，岂不可惜。
