reach 课程简介 (年龄:7 -11,考试选择级别课程)
reach教材由美国国家地理(national geographic)历时数年精心打造的符合美国ccss(common core state standards)《共同核心州立教育标准》的一套教材,全美继承了其权威、科学、严谨、引人入胜等优点。目前全美(包括加州)共有1000多所学校采用reach教材,在美国加州有200多家小学在使用。教材融入跨学科元素,以小说、诗集、戏剧艺术、非小说类文学、媒体知识等多种表现形式,涵盖了美国三大教育体系中的语言艺术和科学两大类容,被美国(包括加州)1000多所学校使用,在阅读理解、批判性思维、语法和词汇方面取得的成效更是比其他的教材学习成效高45%。

our world教材由美国国家地理学习公司斥巨资倾力打造,该教材共有七个级别,教材中精选了很多美国国家地理杂志的精美图片,将我们真实世界丰富而有趣的内容带入课堂,通过图片、视频、音频等多种形式展现出来,为英语学习者带来更真实的感受,更好地帮助学生建立英语语言概念,学习英语知识,运用英语技能,理解我们真实的世界。真正达到让学生花同样的时间,能提升的英语能力更高更扎实。
life 课程简介(年龄:12 – 14)
life美国国家地理公司出版教材,听说读写综合训练,听力部分是每章节的重点。适合于初中起步的学生,也适合考托福,很多国际学校使用。
inside课程简介(年龄:12-14)
对接reach教材,由美国国家地理(national geographic)历时数年精心打造的符合美国ccss(common core state standards)《共同核心州立教育标准》的一套教材,目前全美(包括加州)共有1000多所学校使用inside教材。
除了上述课程体系以外,还可以提供各种考试辅导班(一对一):托福,雅思,美国高中各科ap课,sat, act , 美国大学内测itep,高考阅读写作和听力口语等。具体需求可以咨询微信yixiaojiang1。

i have a bachelor’s degree in economics and spanish from coe college in cedar rapids, iowa and a master’s degree in professional writing from chatham university in pittsburgh, pennsylvania and was an english writing and special skills tutor while studying for my degrees.
i taught beginner english classes at the elementary school level in paraguay and cambodia, along with beginner and intermediate english as a second language course at the university level in thailand at chiang mai university and vietnam at the vietnam national university in hanoi.
i am passionate about language learning and love incorporating popular children’s literature, songs, and games into classes at the beginner level. i also like to explore new and popular language learning tools with my four-year-old daughter, who is learning japanese, and incorporate the most successful activities into my own practices to keep young learners engaged in the material. i like to get to know each student by soliciting individual participation but i also make sure students gain experience working in small teams to foster a healthy and fun group dynamic.
nicole schier
i have a b.s. in elementary education (kindergarten-6th grades) from evangel university in springfield, missouri. i was a children’s ministry director for 8 years. i worked in public schools for 5 years (4 years as a substitute teacher, 3 months as a title i facilitator, and 6 months as a 5th-grade teacher). i am in my second year of teaching at a private christian school (art and computers).
i have a husband, paul, and 2 children, brady and ainsley.
my favorite subjects to teach are english, history, and math.
i love teaching english to students in other countries! i enjoy reach curriculum because it approaches varying levels appropriately. i teach by utilizing the teacher’s guide. i use the student book and songs. i often pull in pictures from the internet to help the students learn new words. calling on each student multiple times to ensure that everyone has a voice in learning.
we use both formative and summative assessments. formative assessments may include completing t-charts as a class, participating in class discussions, answering questions, and completing homework. summative assessments include end of unit quizzes.
homework is assigned based on level. it corresponds to the lesson being taught. (ex. tell me about your favorite holiday. write at least two sentences. ex. create a character map. what is the charact
er feeling? why?)
children are asked to prepare for the next class by completing the homework assigned.

i am a graduate of colgate university with a ba in english literature. i also attended graduate school at the university of pittsburgh for my med (master’s degree in education) as well as my esl certificate (english as a second language ). i have had 17 years of teaching experience both online and offline in teaching reading, esl, math and science.
i love the outdoors and enjoy walking and spending time with my family.
i am thrilled to teach students from various countries. students teach me so much about their cultures and in return i am so happy to share the american culture with them. i love our reach and our world curriculums as they engage students in the language by using fantastic games and songs. i also teach using my accumulated resources and with websites that i am a member of.
if you are in my class i can promise you i will have you speaking in english with comfort and ease emotionally (you will soon try new ways of making sentences without being shy). you will be brave to try new expressions and idioms that i will introduce and i will correct you in meaningful and subtle ways! my motto is “the more mistakes you make, the faster you will learn” so don’t be afraid of making mistakes. this is the way to learn a language!

hello! my name is ashley munshower. i graduated from the university of pittsburgh in 2015. i graduated with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. currently, i work as a first grade teacher. i have taught first grade for four years. i also taught kindergarten for one year.

i love teaching english to students around the world! i love teaching students from other countries because i find it so rewarding to be able to teach and communicate with children around the world. when i teach, i use the teacher’s guide and student book. i like to have students act out words in order to teach them.

hello! my name is rosa ortiz. i graduated from california state polytechnic university, pomona with a bachelor degree, then i went to graduate school in the interamerican university of puerto rico with a doctor degree.
i enjoyed teaching them very much, and decided to continue teaching children since then. i really enjoy teaching language because it is so important to be able to communicate with other people. teaching chinese children has really been both educational for me, as well as inspiring. chinese children are very respectful and eager to learn. it is a pleasure to work with them in class. i try to teach in the simplest way possible so that the children can understand me the first time. it is very important to practice the language every day so that the students can become proficient and fluent. i try to conduct the class so that all the students can participate and be engaged in the lessons.
some of my favorite things are music, sports, and art work. i play the piano and violin during my leisure time, and i also enjoy singing. i like to keep myself physically active, and enjoy watching sports as well. although i find all kinds of art fascinating, i enjoy drawing and making floral arrangements the most.

i received my degree from the university of pittsburgh. my majors were philosophy and english. i tutored middle school and high school students in english, math, history, and science for many years before becoming a high school english teacher. later, i became the director of an education program which offered courses in english, math, science, and history. i was also the director of the program to teach english as a second language.
eight years ago i began teaching english online to students in china. i have taught more than 700 students online during these years. i have been extremely happy teaching and getting to know so many fine students and helping them to speak english well. i am also a published writer. i have taught many students, both in my country and in china to improve their writing ability. i use a number of different methods and course materials to teach students so as to be able to help students at any level from beginner to advanced student. for more advanced students i also teach literature classes in major works in the western tradition. while i enjoy teaching more than most other activities, i also like to go to museums, concerts, and plays. i like to sail, play volleyball, and ride bicycles.
