今天的故事是：一只狐狸掉进深井爬不出去，这时来了一只山羊，于是狐狸想把山羊骗进来，帮自己出去…

during a greatdrought, a fox once fell into a deep well.?he was glad that only a little water remained in the bottom so he would not drown.

从前，在一场大旱中，一只狐狸掉进一口深井。让他高兴的是，井底只有一点水，淹不死他，但他没有办法从井里出来。

?but he had noway to get out of the well.?over and over hetried to climb the smooth sides only to fall back into the well.?一次又一次，他试图沿着井壁爬出去，但太滑了，每次都会掉回井底。

as the fox wasresting between climbs, a goat came along and looked down the well.爬了几次，狐狸停下来休息。这时一只山羊路过这里，探头往井里看。“hello. ” he said. “is there water in this well?”你好，”它说，“这口井里有水吗？”“yes, “ the fox said, splashing a bit with his paw.?“it is lovely, cool,and delicious”“有啊！”狐狸一边说，一边用他的爪子溅起一些水花，“这里的水又甜又凉，很好喝。”

” would you mind sharing: “the goat asked.?“not at all, the fox said. “come on down and drink all you want.”“你不介意跟我分享吧？”山羊问道。“当然不介意，”狐狸说，“进来吧，你想喝多少就喝多少。”so the goat jumped down into the well and had a deep drink of water.after he had his fill, he said, ?“how do we get back out?”?“you could try climbing, “ the fox suggested.于是山羊跳进井里畅饮一番。他喝饱后问：“我们怎么出去呢？”

你可以试着爬出去。”狐狸建议。

so the goat stood up tall on his back legs and reache

d his front hooves up as high as he could.while he was standing that way, the fox jumped onto his back.

于是山羊用后腿站立，尽量抬高前蹄。

he ran up onto the goats head, then onto the goat’s huge curved horns.?from there he waseasily able to jump out of the hole.这时，狐狸跳到山羊的背上，接着跳到山羊的头顶，跳上山羊巨大的弯曲的角，狐狸轻易跳出了井口。“can you get me out now? “ the goat asked.“现在你能把我弄出去吗？”山羊问道。

“i amafraid i cannot, the fox said. ” but i can give you some good advice.

“我恐怕不能，狐狸说.“但我能给你一些好建议：

never trust the advice of someone in difficulties!

永远不要相信自身难保的人给你的建议。
