没有外教，没有小伙伴。 没关系，互联网时代到处可以练习纯正的英语口音。
基本功练扎实了，不管是通过网上还是其他办法，总会有机会让你大声讲出来。实在不行对着镜子来也行。
难得的是你一心想去提高， 有了这份坚持，除了努力以外，剩下的就交给时间吧。
言归正传，我可以从我自身留学,工作的经历来分享下如何稳步提高英语口语水平。出国前虽然考了雅思，但是还是发现来到加拿大后讲话的时候还是很不流畅，断断续续，组织不了语言。后来直到大二经人指点加苦练才一步步走上正轨。

1，通过英语演讲来练习

在大学期间，由于课程需要做了无数的演讲， 再到多伦多上班不厌其烦地被老板们虐，给老板们做presentation， 总结出演讲是你提高口语的最佳练习方法， 没有之一。演讲是你提高口语的最佳练习方法， 没有之一。演讲是你提高口语的最佳练习方法， 没有之一。因为演讲大都是在高压下进行，即便是已经组织好的语言在这种环境下也容易散架，所以高压下记住的东西基本上是忘不了的。你可以仔细想一下，是不是曾经的一个面对很多人的演讲（无论年代多么久远）你至今都记忆犹新。 通过英语演讲来练习，小到可以真正练出高水平的口语，不仅局限在平时交流打招呼社交，对面试，开会等正式场合都很有用，大到对你个人领导力，感召力的提升。对你来说没有小伙伴练习，没有外教对话，没有机会演讲。。。这一切都没关系，你或许只需要好的演讲材料，再加上一面镜子，就可以让口语高歌猛进。

英语演讲是一种非常好的学习材料，而且这种材料非常易得。每年铺天盖地的各种名人演讲都和脚本一起遍布互联网，若是苦于无法找到对应英文字幕或者没有中文对照，下面我推荐大家一本绝佳的英文演讲素材图书，叫做“每天读点英文经典名人演讲全集”。读起来绝对让你十分亢奋，嗷嗷叫。
如何进行呢？

演讲的材料水平难度不一，一开始尽量避免那些高难度，知识性强，科普类的材料。 侧重那些知识含量相对不深，但是很有现场感召力的演讲。 这些演讲的主角大都是名人。比如那些总统竞选胜利后的演讲，各大公司ceo到美国高校开学或毕业典礼的演讲。这些演讲都具有很强大的感召力。而演讲材料，也唾手可得。

选择你喜欢的或者容易上手的，背诵之后，就可以对着镜子反复练习了。 通过镜子里的自己，观察你的手势，神态，口齿是否清楚等等。重要的是你模拟演讲人的语调，语气。注意他们什么时候快，什么时候慢，什么时候高亢，什么时候低沉，什么时候急速，什么时候沉默。 一开始先不要盲目加入自己的风格，努力copy演讲人的风格也不失一种好办法。 你会发现，经常这样的练习，会突然增强你讲英语的信心，假以时日绝对可以让甩那些不跟你一起练习的小伙伴们好几条街，绝对也可以让外教对你刮目相看。 等到驾轻就熟那一天，你就可以自己任意发挥演讲，自己写脚本拥有自己的风格。
练习名人的演讲还有一个好处，那就是很容易获得英语上的信心。试想一下，把你自己假设成那个人，面对台下成千上万的观众，滔滔不绝，旁征博引，引古证今。你还担心自己的英语提高不了吗？
难度稍微大一点的就可以试着练习ted的演讲， ted演讲相对知识性强，思维先进，词汇量也大很多，所以对你英语单词量提高，思维进步的作用是巨大的。

2.通过和外国人交流
总所周知，和以英语为母语的外国人交流，是迅速提高英语口语表达能力的方法。但是可能很多同学并没有这样的学习环境，但是这个不强求

好多人一直有一个误区，就是你讲的越快，就代表你说的越流利。 包括自己在内，曾经一度把快和流利混淆，直到有一天我做一个presentation, 讲的不慢，信心饱满地在规定时间之内把想说的全讲了出来。但是后来台下有人抱怨，有些地方讲的太快人家根本没时间反映。不管你观点多新颖，立场多深刻，你连让别人听懂的最基本目的都没达到，那么你的presentation就是失败的。
之后我从对着电脑练习变成了对着镜子练习，把原来2分钟可以讲完的尽最大努力4分钟讲完。 把你的演讲稿，课本或者读的小说一部分摘抄出来，背诵之后，用比正常速度慢一倍的速度对着镜子讲，这样不仅考验你记忆的情况，而且还给你充足的时间去考虑句子与句子之间衔接，充分感受上下午的语气。所以找不到人没关系，让镜子给你当考官，从降低语速开始。
只要你吐字清楚明白，没人会因为你讲的慢而抱怨。相反的，讲的太快，你的听众可能就要很吃力了。 去看看那些著名演讲，大都语速非常平缓偏慢，偶尔的快速也是为了把气氛带到高潮，但是你总不能一直高潮吧。

很幸运的是我在大学的时候就已经有人给我提了这个意见，及时得到修正。等到正式工作，给老板们做presentation的时候，就不会讲的那么着急。 前几次略有紧张，但是后面越来越好，涉及到金融方面的专业知识，我还是很有信心的，丰富的知识，不惧怕别人提问问题让我非常自信地去发挥。你如果好好准备一份材料，把内容烂熟于心，相信你肯定也会有同样的效果。

4， 对话的时候留充分思考的时间。
如果你可以找到机会跟别人对话， 切记为了显示英语的流利一上来就滔滔不绝。这种情况下说出来的话大都是不经过大脑的，或许你讲的人家可以听得懂，但绝对不利于你长期口语提高，久而久之你会越来越讲究一些错误从而不思进取。
所以讲之前，速度放慢，好好听明白别人讲话的重点，然后逐渐去应答。 或者你可以在回答之前加一些前缀用于你来思考， 比如说:
why is there so much violence on tv? that’s a good question. let me think for a moment, i haven’t really thought about it before. well, i suppose…

5， 不断增加你的词汇量
这个是永远逃不过去的, 我在之前有专门回答过关于如何提高词汇量的帖子，在这里就不重复地讲了。
在这里我要强调的是演讲过程中提高词汇量。当你遇到生词的时候，查字典，反复读，这样结合上下语境和演讲气氛你会记得越来越牢固。这招对我可谓是屡试不爽。

6，创造英语环境，讨论有争议性的话题
当你做了以上四点之后，对自己的英文水平很有信心的时候，可以跟别人讨论下有争议性的话题。鉴于你的小伙伴们不怎么给力，所以不要一直找他们，可以一个月找一次去辩论。或者直接找外教老师去辩论。 因为辩论的情况下，你要充分表达自己的观点反驳对方，所以他会逼着你发挥出你的最佳英文表达水平。 辩论的话题可以很广泛，也没必要选那种很难的话题。但是你的搭档一定是你的对立面，这样效果更加突出。
讨论不一定局限于跟人沟通，直接在微信里跟别人用英文聊天也是不错的办法，但是所有聊天的人必须遵守只讲英语的规则，不会的可以直接打汉语拼音。 我建立了一个英语角的群，每天都发各种有意思的话题供大家讨论，说好说坏无所谓，关键是提供了一个纯英语的环境。 为大家提供这样的帮助，内心也是觉得有些小自豪。
如果有条件的话，最好是跟native speaker多说多练,人都会下意识模仿对方的语音语调，与其自己琢磨不如直接跟外教学效果来的好。

当然大家也可以自选有意思的话题去讨论，比如什么欧洲杯，看的美剧，国内外搞笑的事等等。 话题不是目的，目的是你得讲出来，写出来，说出来。
