英语中有关“免费”的表达

表达 某样东西是免费的或不用花钱的，常用的表达是something is free/free of charge /for free/complimentary 、something costs nothing、something doesn’t cost anything 或 there is no charge for something 等；

表达 某样东西，如饮料、餐点等是由酒吧或餐厅免费提供或老板请客的，可用 something is on the house；

比如： The appetizers and aperitifs are on the house.

开胃菜和餐前酒免费招待。

表达 某样东西，如服务，是免费提供给某人的，可用 something is (provided) at no cost to someone；

还有表达 免费提供乘坐或使用的，可以用 courtesy 这个单词，比如 courtesy bus/phone ( 免费公车/电话 ) 。
