实用英语口语｜如何表达空调的基本操作

上海最近的天气预报显示，要转晴了，随着天气晴朗而来的是一路气温的回升。这预示着炎热的酷暑天气也随着要来了。

人忧桑的啦。今天分享给大家如何用英语表达空调的基本操作。

1. 打开空调
turn on the air conditioner/ conditioning
例如：
it’s too hot here. turn on the air conditioner, please. 这儿太热了，打开空调吧。
口语中常常用air

conditioner的缩写ac来表示，例如：it’s boiling today. turn on the ac. 今天热得要命，开空调吧。
2. 调低温度
关于调低温度一般有两种不同的说法：
①it’s too hot here. i’ll turn up the ac. 这儿太热了，我把空调（功率）调大
②it’s too hot here. i’ll turn down the ac. 这儿太热了，我把空调（温度）调低。
两种表达都是对的而且都很常用，前者是指将空调的功率调大，所以用的是turn up，后者是指将空调的温度调低，所以用的是turn down，只要有类似it’s hot这样的情境，人们很容易理解你是什么意思，不会产生误解的。
3. 调到某一温度
① can you turn the ac down to 26 degrees? 你能把空调调低到26度（摄氏度）吗？
② can you change the thermostat to 26 degrees? 你能把温度调到26度吗？
③ can you turn it down a few degrees? 能把空调调低几度吗？
④ can you turn it up a few degrees ？能把空调调高几度吗？
调低用down，调高就用up。
4.关闭空调turn off the air-conditioning
离开房间时应关闭房间的电器和空调，以减少能源的消耗。
when leaving your room, please turn off

the power switch and air conditioner to save energy.
